This milestone event puts Luzern at the forefront of global progress in space technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, and sustainability.

The journey begins with a pre-event in September, culminating in the main event at Technopark Luzern on October 4–5, 2025. The NASA Space Apps Challenge is the world’s largest annual global hackathon, engaging over 57,000 participants from 150+ countries in 2024. It is a platform for technologists, scientists, designers, and entrepreneurs to tackle real-world challenges using open data from NASA and its partners, driving innovation that benefits humanity and the planet.

Technopark Luzern was founded in 2003 and has since developed into the most important contact point for startups in Central Switzerland. Today, it is home to around 35 companies with over 150 employees. Technopark Luzern not only offers office space, but also valuable networking opportunities and resources that are essential for the success of startups, scaleups, and SMEs. It relies on more than 80 partners from business, politics, and academia who provide support and share their knowledge and experience with founders.
