Review of Our 22nd Annual General Meeting
On April 16, 2025, the 22nd Annual General Meeting of TECHNOPARK® Luzern took place – impressive evidence that Lucerne continues to be a hotspot for innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth. Together with our network, partners, and the startup community, we looked back at a year full of milestones and new impulses. During the general meeting, we were able to announce that the performance agreement with the federal government and canton has been extended until 2027. This secures our mission to promote startups and scale-ups in Lucerne for the coming years. Particularly pleasing is the continuous growth of the Technopark: the number of supported business ideas and newly created jobs is steadily increasing. With the integration of the "zukunft – fertig los" foundation, we can provide even more comprehensive support to founders in the future. Another milestone is the expansion of our international partnerships. With a new Memorandum of Understanding with South Korean innovation actors, we take an important step towards internationalization and strengthen Lucerne's position as a globally networked innovation location. Startup highlights include record growth at smolsys ltd., innovative solutions from ProByLas AG and Cowa Thermal Solutions AG, as well as exciting newcomers like NRG Solutions AG, Zelsius, Visienco AG, and Sentrax, which impressively underscore the diversity and dynamism in the Technopark. Youth development also remains a central concern: over 200 students were inspired for entrepreneurship through programs like Young Enterprise Switzerland, Wirtschaftsbildung.ch, and the Smart-Up program of HSLU. Successful accelerator programs, jury evaluations, and new event formats have further put Lucerne in the spotlight as an innovation location. Last but not least, our solid financial situation allows us to continue developing Technopark Luzern and advance new projects in the future. A big thank you goes to everyone who makes this success possible – our dedicated team, the board, and our strong network. Special thanks go to Prof. Dr. Jörg Worlitschek and the HSLU Smart-up team for the inspiring partnership and commitment to technology spin-offs. We also bid farewell to Francesco Chicherio, who has shaped Technopark Luzern with great passion as managing director in recent years. We wish him all the best and much success in his new entrepreneurial projects for the future. We are proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to the coming years with confidence. With new energy and strong partnerships, we continue to shape the future of entrepreneurship in Central Switzerland. Let's shape the future together!
