Visienco crowned 2025 Biotech champion 🚀🧬
Visienco has been named a 2025 Top100 Public Voting winner in the Biotech category, marking a significant milestone for Switzerland’s organoid technology landscape. Recognized on stage during the 15th anniversary edition of the Top100 Swiss Startup Award, the public accolade underscores strong community and investor enthusiasm for Visienco’s mission to make organoids clinically reliable at scale. As a Root D4–based company within Technopark Luzern, Visienco’s achievement reflects the momentum of Central Switzerland’s growing deep‑tech and life sciences cluster.

Born from a multi‑year collaboration with CSEM and now scaling from Technopark Luzern, Visienco is commercializing AI‑powered automation that tackles one of the biggest bottlenecks in organoid research: consistent, high‑throughput sorting and classification. Its ORGADROID platform uses bright‑field imaging and deep learning to classify and gently transfer organoids, improving reproducibility and enabling larger, data‑driven screenings that reduce reliance on animal testing in preclinical workflows. This technology foundation, coupled with the startup’s rapid progress since incorporation in early 2025, positions Visienco to accelerate translational research and personalized medicine applications from Lucerne to leading labs worldwide.

The Top100 Public Voting distinguishes one standout startup per industry and runs in parallel to the expert jury ranking, giving the broader ecosystem a voice in celebrating breakthrough innovation across ten verticals. This year’s award ceremony convened founders and investors for targeted matchmaking and on‑stage recognition, amplifying visibility and partnerships for winners like Visienco. For Technopark Luzern, this is a testament to the region’s ability to incubate category‑defining ventures, and it energizes a community united by the shared goal of advancing precision, scalability, and impact in next‑generation biotech.
